Concern for Women and Children was established in 2007 as an initiative of the First Lady of the Republic of South Sudan, H.E. Mary Ayen Mayardit with the main aim of empowering women and youth, children and other vulnerable groups.
The Organization is the brainchild of the First Lady and the Mother of the Nation, Republic of South Sudan. Her Excellency the First Lady is the Founder and the Matron to the Organization.
The Founder's passion for the less privileged and most vulnerable in our communities is evidenced in the programmes, projects, and events that the CWC has been involved in up to date.
Concern for Women and Children is legally registered and established as a Non-Profit Organization in South Sudan to address socioeconomic issues and needs of women, children, youth and other vulnerable persons.
