GOSS President H. E. Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit, First Lady, Madam Mary Ayen Mayardit visited Akuach Village in Akon Payam, West Georgia County, Warrap State on November 12, 2010.

Concern for Women and Children (CWC) is a national non-profit, non-government gender equity advocacy institution particularly on girl child education promotion, women and vulnerable children protection, capacity building and empowerment through training and development programmes. It was established in 2006 by H.E. Mary Ayen Mayardit.

CWC has an eleven influential Executive Board members, it has a Secretariat overseen by an Executive Director and supported by Finance and Administrative officer and a Programmes Coordinator.

CWC operates within its effective Working Papers (WPs)
